On behalf of Academic Affairs, I want to welcome all new students, freshmen and transfers and let them know we are excited about their coming and want them to have a terrific year.  I also want to let them know that as students in higher education,  we hope they will be open to new learning and ideas, even those that might be difficult for them.  We hope they will challenge themselves academically on a daily basis while also becoming actively involved in campus events.  As Academic Vice President, I want to let them know that they should not hesitate to contact my office should they have questions.
